杰克逊维尔大学 Law Review will host its inaugural symposium on Friday, February 23, 2024. This year's theme is 环境法律 and Impacts on Coastal Communities. Three featured panels with expert speakers will address policy and regulations related to resiliency, biodiversity, property recovery and development, and other solutions. Anyone interested in learning about environmental challenges faced by coastal communities and law and policy solutions are warmly welcome to join us and engage with the panelists.

We invite academics, scholars, practitioners, and stakeholders in law, social science, and related fields to submit proposals in the form of an abstract. 摘要提交 can focus on topics surrounding coastal communities, including but not limited to impacts on biodiversity, climate change, natural disasters, insurance, and zoning. Accepted authors may choose to submit a draft of the full article by November for 发表在研讨会上.
杰克逊维尔大学 Law Review publishes a Symposium Book and hosts a Symposium 事件. Authors interested in writing an article for publication in the Symposium Book are not required to present at the Symposium 事件 but may choose to, or be requested 由法律评论提供. Please note that with your submission, feedback will 及时提供. Ideally within two weeks to respect both the time of the authors 以及接下来的研讨会.

Articles, as well as case studies and abstracts of research in progress, will be considered for the Symposium 事件 for presentation purposes.
